👋 Meet the Creator
Hi, I’m Dr. Stephanie Mulick — an optometrist, a mom, and a former little girl who started wearing glasses at just five years old. I know what it feels like to see the world come into focus for the first time — and how much of a difference it can make.
I’ve spent over a decade caring for patients of all ages, and one thing has always stuck with me: the earlier we can identify vision problems in children, the better their outcomes — in learning, in development, and in confidence.
👁️ Why I Created the EYE See It! Series
As an optometrist, a mom, and someone who started wearing glasses at just five years old, I understand the challenges of seeing the world through blurry eyes — and the life-changing moment when everything finally comes into focus.
What many parents don’t realize is that most school vision screenings don’t begin until after children have already started school. By then, it may be harder to catch and correct issues like amblyopia (lazy eye), eye-teaming problems, or visual tracking delays — all of which can impact a child’s ability to learn, play, and thrive.
That’s why I created the EYE See It! series — a collection of screen-free, developmentally thoughtful activity books that help parents support early visual development and gently spot potential concerns before school age.
Each book is designed with:
- Activities that promote monocular and binocular eye use
- Playful prompts to encourage visual exploration and coordination
- Hidden picture games and movement-based tasks that make vision fun
These books aren’t medical tools — they’re a bridge: between play and early awareness, between parents and their children, between blurry beginnings and bright futures.

Eye See It!™ is a series of playful, screen-free activity books filled with coloring, drawing, matching, and silly surprises.
Each book stars Penny and her dog, Clancy, leading kids through pages of fun challenges, such as finding hidden paw prints, decorating headbands, and following silly trails. Perfect for Ages 3-5, these books invite kids to explore, imagine, and create.
